My creation- thought it would be ideal for first post!

I did this piece of art, 6 years before! I can't even imagine of the time it took and the way how i spoiled it by trying to wash of the dirt and ended up washing the colors! I attempted washing believing its brand, But as always ALL HAND EMBROIDERED ITEMS NEED TO DRY CLEANED! God! who gives some color fast thread...

The inspiration is Tanjore painting, where the real gold foil are used at the place of real jewellery, gold zari thread and zari combo threads,,,On other areas i applied darning filling stitch,,i used the stranded superior quality embroidered thread, which has 6 strands,,of which i used the combination of 2 strands or 3 strands on the texture required,,,,excuse me here, as i did not know much on the texture as i have learned now!

I confess, am a crazy lover of the peacock feather..It has the beautifullest color combinations! Please pardon some terms,,out of excitement i may BIIIG instead of very very big....Like the beautifullest over here,,,,
After years past, now i see and admire at the time it took,,,Now i wish to incorporate this piece to a ethnic frame or thinking to convert this to crazy quilt,,,Hold on there,,,let me work out on it,,and update if or not i am proceeding on this idea,,or to put them on the brain loft as some superior:) thoughts sometime(in my case many time..) go as alone in pen and not in action! there there...
